About Me

"When Facebook comment boxes feel too short, Twitter gets too spammy, and you’re too old to Tumblr: blog is where it’s at." — Maryana Pinchuk

I am a Wikipedian, cartographer, public policy junkie, and code monkey. My favorite thing to do is to make maps, charts, and websites that help people understand little-known parts of the world around them. I work for The DHS Program (vis-à-vis ICF) making maps and writing code.

On Wikipedia, I serve as an administrator and a functionary. My major contributions to the encyclopedia include articles about punk rock, protesting nuns, and folk songs. My username is Guerillero.

All views expressed on my blog are my own and not those of my employer, my school, Wikipedia, or any other person, body, or organization.
